  1. ART MEETS FLORAL

    April 25, 2017, 10:00 AM - May 3, 2017, 3:00 PM @ Heard-Craig Center for the Arts is located near the northwest corner of the square, right behind Sugarbacon's restaurant.

    This regional design competition pairs floral arrangements with gorgeous paintings from the 1700's through the 1970's. Featured artwork includes students of Frank Klepper, Tom Lea, Hilda Truett, and Constantin Westchiloff. Florists include Edwards Floral Design, Clina Flowers and Gifts, Fleurs and Events, Oksana Toporina, Market Street-Mckinney, and more.

  5. Celebrate National Poetry Month

    In time for celebrating April as National Poetry Month, the McKinney Mockingbird Poetry Society (a Chapter of the Poetry Society of Texas), will host an Open Mic poetry readings on Saturday, April 29 at 1– 3 p.m. at the Heard-Craig Carriage House located at 205 W. Hunt St. in downtown McKinney. All poetry writers are welcome to celebrate Poetry Month with the Mockingbirds. Refreshments will be served.
