  1. Dinosaurs Live! at The Heard

    September 1, 2018 - February 18, 2019 @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 13th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. The exhibit always gives families and friends a fun, educational activity to enjoy together. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Photo op and play area dinosaurs will be available as well. This year, the exhibit also features an outdoor fossil dig. The dinosaur trail is jogging stroller friendly (it is not suitable for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs).

  3. Nature Story Times

    December 7, 2018, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    These story times are designed primarily for children and will introduce a different nature-themed book each week. During most of the story times, a puppet, live animal or enrichment items will be included to enhance the experience. These programs should last approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the book covered.

  4. It's a Wonderful Life Radio Stage Play

    December 7, 2018, 7:30 PM - December 8, 2018, 3:30 PM @ 2 blocks from Downtown McKinney Square

    Come see and hear members of the First United Methodist Church of McKinney as they recreate a 1946 style radio broadcast of Frank Capra's Christmas classic, "It's a Wonderful Life," complete with authentic commercials and songs from the time period.

  5. All Star Christmas Concert

    December 7, 2018, 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM @ McKinney Performing Arts Center

    This concert is one of a kind. Like no other Christmas show, this is a true collaboration of DFW's most talented musicians - maestro Jason Lim and the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra. Joining the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra are, William Foley piano trio, Jason Davis on Saxophone, Candace Miller, Keyreel Raskolenko on violin and Ben Katzen on cello. The orchestra will also feature special guest stars: Maylee Thomas, Mayor George Fuller, Andy Timmons and the Maylee Thomas Band. Come hear original arrangements of the Christmas songs you know and love performed by the award-winning Odysseus Chamber Orchestra and a cast of all-star jazz performers from around the world.
