    Linda Barnes has been interested in all forms of photography since meeting renowned wildlife photographer Tom Mangelsen in 1978. Since then she has focused her attention on scenic and wildlife photography, and plans to do more work in conservation photography. In June of 2017, she joined a select group of photographers on a trip to the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia. There she photographed grizzlies, eagles and the rare spirit bear, one of the highlights of her photographic experience.
