    We work hard to re-create the feel of bygone market days held in the old Jockey lot in downtown McKinney. Meet friends, share local news and bring a chair and sit a while! Most every Saturday there’s a special tour, event, music or demonstration. Local and organic meat, dairy, honey and produce vendors offer their wares every Saturday at Chestnut Square near downtown McKinney. Nancy will share her vision; to cover cities with habitat gardens, bringing the wonders of nature closer to everyone. She has over 40 years of gardening experience in different countries and climates. Plus her expertise in using native plants and water features to attract wildlife, the butterflies, birds, and other pollinators we all love to urban areas.     These programs are held on the third Saturday of each month and cover a variety of subjects. Third Saturday Nature Talks are open to the public and are free with paid general admission or Heard Museum Membership. Many of these programs will have an outside component.
