Couple Has Mixed Media Exhibit
Maureen Brouillette and Joel Sampson will exhibit their mixed media and
collage art. It`s the married couples` third two person exhibit.
Maureen Brouillette (Sampson) has been featured in Watercolor Artists
and The Artists` Magazine. Her work has been published by Crate & Barrel
nationwide as framed prints. She also teaches and does critiques.
Joel Sampson has work in the permanent collection of the Amon Carter
Museum in Fort Worth and three corporate art collections in Fort Worth.
He is the president of the Southwestern Watercolor Society.
Both artists incorporate original photography into their paintings and
are drawn to many of the same subjects, such as architecture. Joel and
Maureen have both been in many solo and group exhibits.
The opening reception is July 11 from 7 to 10 pm at the Garret Art
Gallery, 111 E. Virginia, McKinney, Texas, phone 972-548-9361. The
exhibit continues through August 6.
