We invite you to come out on Halloween Eve and enjoy the sights of thousands of ghosts and goblins young and old in Historic Downtown McKinney. This annual event has grown to hundreds of trick or treaters enjoying treats and interactive activities to celebrate a safe, secure family fun Halloween event. Historic Downtown McKinney is closed off for trick or treaters to cross the streets safely, going shop to shop for goodies. The Office of Environmental Stewardship will be sponsoring this year`s "Be Green on Halloween" with a Costume Contest and the first ever Jack-O-Lantern Contest. Also, this year Main Street is partnering with 3E and is requesting canned food donations to benefit the Food Pantry. Canned food can be dropped off at the McKinney Performing Arts Center anytime between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. through Friday, October 30, 2009. Visit www.downtownmckinney.com for more details. |
