The Heard-Craig House is a beautifully preserved historic home located in McKinney’s historic district. The home was built in 1900 by Stephen D. Heard and his wife, Lillie. The couple moved into the home with their 18-year-old son, Fred, and 16-year-old daughter, Katie. The tour includes five homes, a one-room schoolhouse, early 1900`s grocery store and chapel. Learn about the families who were early settlers in McKinney.
