A. Holmes Art Studio
Andrea Holmes is a highly experienced artist with a studio in downtown McKinney. Her diverse educational and professional background provides a unique and accomplished lens through which she views art. With a focus on acrylics, Andrea likes to paint vintage objects, animals, birds, and custom pieces. She enjoys experimenting with different styles of backgrounds and using scrapbook paper or fabric to create texture and depth to her work. Andrea's art is often displayed and sold in local businesses around the square. By appointment only; call 469-712-4126.
Jump Into Art Studios
Jump Into Art Studios is an amazing place to create, play, and engage in various art processes with numerous weekly classes, home school classes, adult art and clay classes, private pottery lessons, Open Studio Art Drop In (every Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.), private art parties and summer camp. Bringing in visiting artists for many of their sessions keeps things even more fun! Located at 404 N. Church Street (northeast corner of Church and Lamar just north of downtown McKinney).
LAST Art Gallery
Opened in downtown McKinney, Texas in 2014, the LAST (Louisiana Street) Art Gallery, was founded by Gail Delger, an award-winning artist and an advocate for creativity. The gallery's mission is to showcase works from talented area artists ranging from the traditional to the eclectic. If you’re searching for the perfect piece to adorn your walls, you may just find it at LAST, 105 W. Louisiana St.
The Cove is a private cooperative venue that encourages creatives to congregate, communicate, collaborate, exhibit, and perform. Located in the heart of a growing hub for artists in downtown McKinney, The Cove features a new solo or collaborative exhibit every weekend to encourage a constant flow of new work, new ideas, and energy. Memberships and exhibit/meeting space fees are affordable. Poets, writers, musicians, artists, and small creative groups should inquire about the use of The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee, just north of the downtown square.
The MARTin Place
The MARTin Place is a unique art destination designed to promote the arts in the community with a variety of services, located at 1799 N. Graves.
