- Bike the Bricks (Friday, May 25)
Watch and cheer for about 500 cyclists racing at high speed through the streets of downtown McKinney! Also enjoy a wide range of live music and plenty of great food and drink.
Where & When: Historic Downtown Square, 111 N. Tennessee, McKinney. 2:30-11 p.m.
- Yellow Wood Music & Outdoor Festival (Saturday, May 26)
This lifestyle festival combines great music with the great outdoors! Participate in recreational and fitness activities, take a cooking class, browse through the artisan village, learn something new, camp, run in the Race to Brunch 5K, enjoy the Barnyard Party or just chill out and listen to great music with a craft beer! Where & When: Myers Park, 7117 CR 166, McKinney. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with some ticketed or reservation-based activities going later into the night.
- Smiles Charity Concert (Sunday, May 27)
This year's Smiles Concert features, as its headliner, county recording artist Joe Nichols. Other music provided by the Keith Owens Band and the Maylee Thomas Band. Admission is $5 at the gate with money raised going to build houses for disabled U.S. veterans. No coolers or food allowed in; food and drinks will be available for purchase at the festival site.
