Board meetings take place in the conference room of Visit McKinney’s Offices and Visitor Center or one of McKinney’s many meeting venues, or due to COVID concerns, some meetings are hybrid in-person/online format. The location of each meeting is denoted on the posted meeting agenda. (Visit McKinney offices are located at 200 West Virginia at Wood Street in downtown McKinney.)

2020-21 Visit McKinney Board Members Visit McKinney is served by a seven-member Board of Directors who are appointed by the McKinney City Council and who serve staggered terms of two years; board members may serve up to three terms.

In August 2020, the Visit McKinney Board approved its Strategic Plan for the new fiscal year. It is designed to be a living document, subject to updates and adjustments as the tourism industry demands.
