Valentine's Day Themed Events
Valentine's Family Dance
Saturday, Feb. 9, 6-9 p.m.
Put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away with your loved ones! Join the Love Life Foundation for their first annual Valentine's Family Dance event on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 6-9pm at The Sanctuary Music & Events Center. Tickets are now FREE (seating is first come, first served), and there will refreshments, a candy bar, a photo booth to capture the evening's memories, and music by DJ Bull. Bring the whole family out for this special night, with all proceeds going to Love Life Foundation benefiting “at risk” women and children right here in Collin County. 

sip and savorValentine’s Day Sip & Savor
Saturday, Feb. 9, 4-6 p.m.
Put yourself and your loved one in a special Valentine's mood by learning how to make delicious French macarons while sampling sparkling wines. A perfect gift to give or receive from Food Walks of Texas. $70 per adult/child 12. Limited seating! A few spots are still available.

Valentine Wine Pairing Dinner 
Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. 
Lone Star Wine Cellars (103 E. Virginia) features a romantic wine pairing dinner prepared by Chef McGrady, the former chef of Princess Diana and the British Royal Family for 15 years. The chef, who also cooked for five U.S. presidents, is now a chef, author, culinary consultant, event planner and public speaker. Rotating tables between courses will allow for meeting new friends, and reconnecting with familiar faces. Also make sure to chat with the Royal Chef himself about his time in the Royal Kitchens at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Sandringham House, Balmoral Castle and on The Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy a food tour of downtown McKinney
Food Walks of Texas offers tours at 10:45 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays as well as a Sunday brunch tour at 11:45 a.m. Also coming soon: BBQ, Bros & Brews at TUPPS. Adults (21 years and over). Also available: Private tours and gift certificates.

We Ate Well Food Tours offers their Taste & See McKinney Tour on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., a Craft & Comfort Cocktail Tour on Thursdays, 5-7 p.m.; and private daytime food & drink tours for family, friends, corporate groups and more or private weekday evening cocktail tour for groups up to 12.

Cook something special for your loved ones. Local Yocal Farm-to-Market is offering a Beef Wellington for two made with in-house pate and Tasso ham or two 8-ounce Angus Filet Mignons. The meals come with potato gratin, green beans and your choice of banana pudding pie or chocolate flourless cake. Each meal is $80 and must be pre-ordered by Feb. 9 and picked up on a specified date (Feb. 14-16). Cook and serve in about an hour.

Chestnut Square Historic Village is hosting a Mystery Dinner, Mix 'n' Mingle and Show Combo. Mix 'n' Mingle under the outdoor Pavilion with the actors from North Texas Civilian Historians before the show. Then enjoy a delicious catered baked chicken dinner with warm comfort sides. While not technically a Valentine's Day event, it sure would be a fun way to celebrate with your special Valentine! The dinner and show are $45 per person and the Mix 'n' Mingle with Show Only is $20 per guest. Tickets available online.
