It’s safe to say most folks are in agreement on one thing right now – we’re all tired of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. As we all work toward making our lives feel more normal, travel will no doubt be one thing people are definitely looking forward to in the future. Whether you’re ready to travel soon, or your comfort level isn’t quite there yet, we at Visit McKinney are ready to greet you!
Visit McKinney, along with many other destinations across America, is proud to be taking part in the U.S. Travel Association’s “Let’s Go There” coalition. Needless to say, the tourism industry has been extremely hard-hit during the Coronavirus shutdown and travel bans. To help promote travel again, participating organizations have been promoting safety-first messaging (#TravelConfidently). Now that school is back in session and the holidays are already looming in the very near future, it may just be time to think about travel planning again. The “Let’s Go There” campaign hopes to tap into America’s sense of wanderlust, and in turn, help inspire people to dream of a fun trip that is exciting, safe, and productive … when they feel the time is right for them.
