Way Back Workshops A series of workshops for grades 3-8 March 9 – 10 2021 Spring Break Experience pioneer life! Learn about: basic soap making techniques, Explore the gardens at Chestnut Square and learn the language of flowers, food preservation basics, weaving, sewing, and fabric dyeing! Work with our blacksmith who use repurposed metal pieces to create music – and learn about the life of African Americans in 18th century McKinney, many of whom worked in the metal industry.
