Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 15th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. The exhibit always gives families and friends a fun, educational activity to enjoy together. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Photo op and play area dinosaurs will be available as well. This year, the exhibit also features an outdoor fossil dig. The dinosaur trail is jogging stroller friendly (it is not suitable for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs).

Come on down and enjoy an old time market The McKinney Farmers Market runs all year round! Every Saturday April – November 8am – 12pm. Every 1st & 3rd Saturday December – March 8am-12pm We work hard to re-create the feel of bygone market days held in the old Jockey lot in downtown McKinney. Meet friends, share local news and bring a chair and sit a while! Most every Saturday there’s a special tour, event, music or demonstration. Local and organic meat, dairy, honey and produce vendors offer their wares every Saturday at Chestnut Square near downtown McKinney. Market vendors also offer baked goods, artisan & specialty foods, wine, plants & flowers, craft items and more!
