Visit McKinney Retail Partner Application
Visit McKinney's mission is to improve the economic vitality of McKinney. We accomplish this by inviting others to visit, explore, and enjoy the many experiences our city has to offer. Our Experience Center is designed to be a welcoming place where visitors and residents can get a little taste of what awaits them in our community. Part of this experience is to give guests an idea of items McKinney small businesses create and sell here.
The portion of our Experience Center where we offer products made by artisans and makers in McKinney and Collin County has an emphasis on food and beverage as well as handcrafted gifts and goods. Items are carefully selected to ensure they are of interest to our customers and that they do not pass a price limit of $50 retail. Retail partners should have a physical or online store to be strongly considered. Items must have a McKinney or Texas theme to be considered for inclusion in our store. (Note: Products bearing trademarks like "Unique by Nature" or other protected city branding are prohibited.)
We expect our partners to abide by our mission statement (shown above) and our vision statement - to be the most welcoming gem in all of Texas. We treat all people equally and with generous hospitality as we strive to create the best experience in the most respectful and engaging way.
What does not fit our mission and focus: Medical services and/or products, beauticians and/or beauty products, religious topics/themes, political candidates, and/or political events are not a fit for our Visit McKinney's Experience Center retail partners.
To become a retail partner, wholesale pricing, and suggested retail pricing is required. Use of the community takeover table is free of charge and may be used for: DIY classes and workshops, office meetings, educational informative sessions, attraction promotions, etc.
