About this event
Creativity is your brain having fun!
What if you stopped trying to get creativity right, and started having fun with it?
Give yourself permission to experiment, make a mess, break the rules, and discover something wonderful about yourself. The Live Creatively Retreat, led by MillHouse Founder, social scientist, and creativity expert Dr. Beth Beck, is an immersive four-day experience designed to stretch your creative muscles, challenge your assumptions, and help you uncover the artistic instincts that make you uniquely you.
Taking place January 21–24, 2027, this retreat invites women to step away from the expectations and routines of everyday life and into a space where curiosity leads, perfectionism takes a back seat, and creative discovery is the point.
You don't need to know how to draw, paint, or call yourself an artist. You don't need a portfolio, a plan, or a perfectly executed idea. You just need to be curious.
Curiosity is required. Art experience is not.
What If Your Creativity Is More Unconventional Than You Think?
Women are often expected to juggle multiple responsibilities, follow familiar paths, and get everything right. But creativity doesn't always work that way. It can be nonlinear, surprising, messy, playful, and full of unexpected connections.
At Live Creatively Retreat, we'll explore how women create, leaning into our nonlinear, multitasking superpowers and discovering what happens when we give ourselves permission to think differently.
Through unconventional artistic styles, playful techniques, creative investigations, and hands-on experimentation, you'll be encouraged to challenge your expectations, question your assumptions, and embrace the freedom of imperfection.
We'll make mistakes. We'll break rules. We'll try things that might feel unfamiliar. And we'll discover that some of the most interesting creative breakthroughs happen when we let go of the need to get everything right.
This is not about producing a perfect piece of art. It's about exploring how you think, what captures your imagination, and which creative elements reflect who you are.
