About this event
Krewe of Barkus is a Mardi Gras-style dog parade in Historic Downtown McKinney, centered on Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park. Dogs and their owners march the route in costume and compete for judged costume awards. The next parade is expected the Sunday before Mardi Gras in February 2027; an exact date has not been published yet.
