About this event
Kick off McKinney Oktoberfest weekend with cookies, pottery, and a little Bavarian fun!
Gentle Confections and Walls of Clay are teaming up for an Oktoberfest Pottery + Cookie Decorating Collab in Historic Downtown McKinney, just in time to get the celebration started before McKinney’s annual Oktoberfest festivities!
This isn't your ordinary cookie class. You'll get TWO creative experiences in one evening: Oktoberfest cookie decorating with Gentle Confections AND pottery painting with Walls of Clay.
Kara from Gentle Confections will guide you step-by-step through decorating three festive Oktoberfest sugar cookies: a frothy beer stein, Bavarian hat and pretzel.
Then the Walls of Clay team will guide you through painting your own Oktoberfest-inspired pottery piece.
No cookie decorating or pottery experience is needed. Just come ready to create, laugh and kick off Oktoberfest weekend!
