The facility’s fields and open spaces support a mix of organized sports and casual visits.
Amenities & Features Five lit regulation‑sized soccer fields — great for practices, leagues, and local matches. Multi‑use sports fields also used for lacrosse, cricket, and football‑style practices. Splash pad — perfect for cooling off on warm days. Boundless playground with inclusive, wheelchair‑accessible elements.
Amphitheater and open space for gatherings or events. Large picnic shelter (first‑come, first‑served) and BBQ grills. Two concession & restroom facilities for game days or family visits. 6‑mile trail through the park. Shade trees & parking throughout both phases of the complex.
AED & lightning detectors installed for enhanced weather safety. Important Usage Notice Due to improvements at the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch, unauthorized instruction, practice, and formal games are not allowed at Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex. Users are encouraged to visit designated multi-use practice fields instead.
