Most of the pieces were created by my grandfather, Rudy Dengel, and it’s a true joy to share his work in this space. As an artist myself, I spent years creating art within these very walls, and it feels special to now have them adorned with my grandfather’s paintings.
Rudy’s work, primarily in watercolor, reflects the beauty he saw around him — from serene scenes in East Hampton to the sunny shores of Fort Myers. May his art inspire your own creativity during your stay, and don’t miss the paint-by-numbers piece upstairs — a playful nod to the artistic spirit that fills this home.
