In 1979 with a rock and soul upbringing Joey Love uprooted from Pennsylvania and moved to Texas where he was introduced to a melting pot of musical genres including Blues, Rock, Reggae, R&B, Country and more. It was here that he developed his style and began performing live for well over 35 years.
Fronting his own project (The Joey Love Band) has placed him in numerous festivals as well as travelling the small to medium venue circuit in Texas. He has shared the bill with artists like Eddie Money, Blues Oyster Cult, Etta James and many more. Since the pandemic he has been performing more as a solo act however the venues are opening back up and you can also find him performing with his Trio.
