380 Corridor
McKinney’s 380 corridor is a bustling area with abundant dining, shopping, and entertainment options as well as the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center complex. Anchored by a movie theater and numerous retail centers, it offers a mix of popular restaurants and big-box businesses as well as the lovely Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. The nearby Gray Branch Road Parkland adds a touch of nature (and loads of wildflowers in the warm months), providing green space for outdoor activities in the midst of this thriving commercial hub. Below are descriptions on some of amenities along the 380 Corridor.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney is a full-service hospital providing high-quality, compassionate care for locals and visitors in need. With 192 beds and advanced services including emergency care, imaging, orthopedics, stroke, and women's health, it’s equipped to meet a wide range of medical needs.
Gray Brand Road Parkland features a prairie restoration project in progress. Once part of a working farm, Gray Branch still reflects its prairie roots. The City of McKinney is restoring native habitats by planting wildflowers and grasses that attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators—adding vibrant color and ecological value. Stroll or bike along scenic trails that wind through 212-acre wooded areas and open prairie. Keep an eye out for blooming crape myrtles—beautiful, drought-tolerant plants endorsed by Texas Agrilife. This parkland is accessible just south and west of the intersection of Hwy. 380 and Lake Forest.
Third Monday Trade Days is North Texas’s oldest and largest monthly market, dating back to the 1870s. Enjoy clean restrooms, 2 ATMs, 3 entrances, and a climate-controlled indoor mall. Parking is $5 Sat–Sun until 4 p.m., free on Fridays and after 4 p.m.
The Cinemark North McKinney and XD Theater (located on the southwest corner of Hardin and Hwy. 380) has 14 screens including one XD auditorium. All auditoriums feature heated reclining seats, a large concession area with self-serve drink stations, and a small seating area with video games in the lobby.
