Join the Collin County Master Gardeners Association for the 2026 Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, or until sold out, at Myers Park & Event Center in McKinney.
Why Plant in the Fall? Fall is one of the best times to plant in North Texas. Cooler air temperatures reduce heat stress while soils remain warm enough to support root growth. Planting in fall gives many trees, shrubs and perennials time to establish stronger root systems before winter and provides a valuable head start before the return of North Texas summer heat.
What Will You Find? Shop a wide selection of plants for North Texas gardens, including perennials, shrubs, Japanese maples, ornamental grasses, bulbs, irises, daylilies, cool-season annuals, drought-tolerant plants and other seasonal selections. Collin County Master Gardener volunteers will be available to answer gardening questions and help shoppers choose plants for their landscapes.
What to Expect:
- A wide variety of plants selected for North Texas gardens
- Collin County Master Gardeners available to answer gardening questions
- Free parking and no sales tax
- Credit cards (American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard), debit cards and checks accepted; no cash
- Shoppers are encouraged to bring a cart or wagon and arrive early for the best selection
A plant list will be posted on the event website closer to the sale as information becomes available. The event is held rain or shine. No dogs permitted inside the venue.
