One of our most popular holiday workshops is back! Join us at Walls of Clay in Downtown McKinney for a hands-on glass fusing workshop where you’ll create your own freestanding Christmas tree. Choose your size, explore colorful glass combinations, and design a one-of-a-kind holiday decoration you’ll enjoy displaying year after year.
This beginner-friendly workshop sells out every year, and with only 12 seats available, we encourage early registration!
Create Your Own Glass Christmas Tree
There’s something special about decorating for Christmas with something you made yourself! Join us for a creative evening of glass fusing as you design a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree using colorful glass pieces, textures, and accents.
Choose your glass panel, then cut, arrange, and layer glass to create your own design. Whether you prefer traditional Christmas colors or something completely different, we’ll guide you through the process.
No experience necessary! This workshop is beginner-friendly, and we’ll help you every step of the way.
How It Works
Choose your glass panel from a variety of sizes available the night of the workshop.
Learn the basics of cutting, arranging, and layering glass.
Design and create your own Christmas tree.
Leave your project with us for kiln firing.
Return approximately two weeks later to pick up your finished, freestanding glass tree.
Pricing & Registration
A $25 deposit reserves your seat and is applied toward your finished project.
Glass panels range from $46–$68, depending on the size selected. The remaining balance is due the night of the workshop.
All glass, supplies, instruction, and kiln firing are included in the project price.

Finished projects will be ready for pickup in approximately two weeks.
