About this event
Looking for an inspiring way to spend your lunch hour? Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the work happening at the Frontiers of Flight Museum with Rosalie Wade, Director of Education. This Lunch Bunch is perfect for educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, STEM professionals, parents, and anyone interested in education, aviation, workforce development, or creating more opportunities for the next generation.
Rosalie will share how the museum is building STEM pipelines, expanding girls-focused programming in South and West Dallas, and reimagining workforce development through aviation and aerospace education. With more than 75,000 student experiences each year, Frontiers of Flight Museum plays a unique role in connecting students with STEM education and future career opportunities.
You'll get an inside look at the programs, partnerships, and strategies helping open those doors and hear how this work is shaping opportunities for students across North Texas.
Rosalie Wade is the Director of Education at Frontiers of Flight Museum, a Smithsonian-affiliated museum in Dallas. She serves as Strategy Chair for the North Texas STEM+ Ecosystem and Co-Chair of the Dallas Sensory Consortium. Before entering museum education, Rosalie was an NCAA swimmer and spent more than a decade coaching swimming.
She brings a unique perspective on education, mentorship, leadership, and building pathways for young people.
Whether you're connected to STEM and education or simply curious about the people and programs creating new opportunities for students, this is a chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who care about the future of our community.
Lunch Bunch Speaker Series is an informal conversation around topics of interest to members and nonmembers. The event is free and all are welcome. Lunch is not provided, but you're welcome to bring your own and enjoy it during the conversation.
