(McKinney – October 13, 2025) The City of McKinney has approved a five-year agreement to continue hosting the CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch through 2030.

Since moving to McKinney in 2021, the tournament has drawn thousands of visitors, national TV coverage, and millions in economic impact for the community. The event also benefits the Momentous Institute, which provides mental health services for children and families. Golfer at Byron Nelson

As part of a new agreement, McKinney will continue to provide public safety support and invest up to $500,000 in infrastructure for every $10 million in course improvements by Invited Clubs. The contract also includes the option for an additional three year-extension to 2033.
