2021-22 Visit McKinney Board Information

Board Meetings

Board meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 8 a.m. Special meetings are held as needed for strategic planning and other Visit McKinney business needs. The location of each meeting is denoted on the posted meeting agenda.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings and meeting minutes are available following approval at Visit McKinney Board meetings. Anyone interested may view all City of McKinney Boards and Commissions agendas and minutes HERE.

 

2021-22 Visit McKinney Board Members

Visit McKinney is served by a seven-member Board of Directors who are appointed by the McKinney City Council and who serve staggered terms of two years; board members may serve up to three terms.  Following are the Visit McKinney board members for the 2021-22 fiscal year.

Vince Vittatoe

Vince Vittatoe Board Chair

Vince Vittatoe is the owner of Vittatoe Consulting LLC, an independent security consulting firm that provides a strategic approach in helping businesses and organizations better manage their security risks while providing a safe and secure workplace for employees and customers. He currently serves as a board member on the International Association of Professional Security Consultants and as an ambassador for the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Loss Prevention Committee for 13 years and as the Chairman of that committee in 2009-2010. While in the restaurant industry, Vince served on the Board of Directors for Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA) from 2011-2015 and as President in 2014-2015.

Connie Gibson is the Development Director for McKinney Christian Academy. Connie joined the development office at MCA in 2014 as the PR and special events coordinator. Previously, she worked in administration with McKinney Community Development Corporation.

Jon Dell'Antonia

Jon Dell'Antonia Board Secretary/Treasurer

Jon Dell'Antonia serves as the President of Stonebridge Ranch Home Owners Association Board of Directors. He is an IT executive turn-around specialist with 20-plus years of management and Information Technology experience in manufacturing and retail organizations, having served as Vice President of Information Technology & CIO at Oshkosh B'Gosh, Inc. Prior to this, Dell'Antonia served in municipal government in Oshkosh, Wisc., for 10 years - City Council (1993-2002), Mayor (2000-2002), and Oshkosh Planning Commission (2004-2007).

Michelle Gamble

Michelle Gamble has 20-plus years of expertise in the spa/fitness industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Global Wellness Summit. She is the former publisher of Spa Magazine and event director for Questex Media’s SPATEC North American business forums.

Tamra Gaines

Tamra Gaines Board Member

Tamra Gaines has 26 years in the hospitality industry as both a supplier and planner. She is the Vice President Experience & Events for Cornerstone League, a trade association for credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. As a published author and speaker, Tamra is passionate about topics focused on leadership and bias and overall professional development for herself and others. Tamra is a past president of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Dallas Chapter, and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Little Rock CVB and as an Ambassador with the Samaritan Inn in McKinney.

Whitney Nash

Whitney Nash Board Member

Whitney has three businesses located in McKinney. She owns and operates two companies herself - Nashional Self-Directed which is a Self-Directed Solo 401(k) plan provider and educational consultant, and Above & Below 1031 which provides qualified intermediary services for 1031 exchanges. Whitney also co-owns Nashional Financial with her husband, Jeff, which provides comprehensive financial, tax, and protection planning services. Whitney currently serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteer McKinney as the President-Elect, and previously on the McKinney Armed Services Memorial Board. She is very active in the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, is a 2021 graduate of Leadership McKinney, and volunteers frequently for several organizations. Whitney lives in McKinney with Jeff, their young son, and two shelter rescue dogs.

Katie Scott

Katie Scott is the owner of two shops in Downtown McKinney - the Groovy Coop, a vintage boutique that opened in 2015, and Red Zeppelin Records that opened in mid-2020 and frequently features live performances by local musicians, too. In early 2021, the record store expanded to include a record label that focuses on up-and-coming McKinney musical artists. In fall 2021, Red Zeppelin began its next expansion which involves doubling its current space to make room for an actual performance venue and bar. This expansion is scheduled for completion in early 2022.

Deidre Woodard

Deidre Woodard is the Broker & Owner of STATUS Realty LLC, the premier real estate brokerage for Sports & Entertainment and High Net Worth clientele. She is a graduate of Stanford University and the Entrepreneurship Program at SMU Cox School of Business. Deidre is also CEO and Creative Director for her production company, Platinumstar Enterprises LLC, where she currently has a variety of TV & Film projects in various stages of development. Deidre is a past VP for Women in Film Dallas and past President for the Estates of Verona Homeowners Association. She currently serves as the President of the Athletic Booster Club for Cockrill Middle School.
