Collin County History Museum
Located just one block east of McKinney’s historic downtown square, this museum in the historic post office building is one of McKinney’s best kept secrets. The museum is open year-round, Thursday through Saturday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Family research and genealogy projects are welcome. Our archives and family files include information, documentation, and photographs from Collin County. We have a capable group of research volunteers available to assist each Thursday. The museum is available for private showings of exhibits and archives upon request. Please feel free to give us a call or check our website for more information.
