Nightlife & Live Music
McKinney’s nightlife is spread across the city, with the bulk of it in the historic downtown square. Two "coolness factor" night-time spots to check out include Arcade 92, a vintage arcade featuring original game consoles dating from the late 1970s to the e-sports gaming of today. No quarters are required either; pay one admission and play the rest of the day! And catch a comedy show at The Comedy Arena.
Local Live Music
McKinney is a designated Texas Music Friendly Community, and many of our locally-owned restaurants, pubs, wineries, and a brewery support our local musicians by hosting them every weekend and some even have live music and open mic nights during the week. (See those listed below!)
Catch a Concert
You can also take in a concert of anyone from a community band or orchestra to Lindsey Buckingham or Clint Black in the quaint Courtroom Theater at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in downtown McKinney. Across town, Adriatica’s The Sanctuary Music & Events hosts some of the best regional and local rock, soul, and blues you’ll hear anywhere including the likes of Andy Timmons, Texas Flood, Jon Christopher Davis, and Maylee Thomas!
